Serametrix today announced the addition of Dan Chambers to its management team as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel. "Since its inception Serametrix has been successfully building valuable datasets of diagnostic and prognostic biomarker panels," said Dr. Henry Hepburne-Scott, CEO of Serametrix. "Dan’s experience in managing intellectual property will enable us to protect these valuable discoveries, which is critical to our ability fully commercialize them in various areas, for example, for patient selection, early detection, drug repurposing, etc."
Chambers has over 20 years of experience procuring and monetizing a range of valuable technologies for numerous life sciences clients. He also has extensive experience as in-house counsel. "Serametrix is an exciting company whose proprietary technology has application in many areas critical to advancing patient health and the efficient, appropriate delivery of numerous drug-based therapies," said Chambers. "I look forward to contributing to Serametrix’s increasing success by helping to protect and chart a clear path to market for its pioneering advances."
Chambers received his BS degree in Biology from UCLA and his JD from Southwestern University. He is admitted to the bar in California and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
